Prove It! - Revisited

When I'm in the library in town, I usually pick up a free newspaper for my mother who enjoys reading it. By the time I left they hadn't delivered the newspaper. I knew I could pick up one from the local underground station but I also knew the bus stop nearby was closed, which made it inconvenient. I asked the security guard whether he knew where else I could pick up the paper  and catch my bus from there.  He suggested another station.

"I'm not walking there, it's too far!" I said.

"It's the same distance to the other one you were going to walk to," he said.

"No, it isn't!" I said.

"Yes, it is!"

"No, it isn't!"

"Yes, it is!" he said.

"Prove it!"

He got up and pretended he was about to walk out of the building. We both laughed. I then said goodbye to him.

When I got out of the building, I felt this Force taking over my body and my legs walking in the direction that the security guard had suggested. The Force walked me down this road where I found an outlet that had the newspapers. I picked up one. The Force then took me round the corner to a bus stop where I was able to catch my bus home.

Thank you, God, for proving that my friend had been right all along.
