Bus Pass

On my way home, I stopped off at the local shop to top-up (add money to) my Oyster card (bus pass).

As I was walking home, I noticed two girls, twins, who live in my neighbourhood. I haven't seen them in ages. I stopped them to have a chat.  I told them they looked really grown up.  One of them said they were now 12 years old. I asked them if they were now attending secondary school and they said yes.

While I was chatting to the girls, a man walked up to me and asked me what my name was.  Although I was surprised, I told him. He asked me where my bus pass was. I looked in my bag and then realised I must have left it in the shop. He then handed my pass to me.  I was really grateful.

Thank you, God, for returning my bus pass.
